robbie is currently pursuing a music degree from arizona state university. he spends most of his time writing new sounds for interesting ensembles or playing
oboe and english horn. he is the winner of the
2010 remix composition competition, sanctioned by the
loose filter project, a website dedicated to reframing what we know as concert music. robbie is also the recipient of the 2011 atlantic coast conference band director's association grant for young and emerging wind band composers. he enjoys performing
acoustic indie folk, electronic process music, and everything in between. when not making music, he can be found invading his home cities of los angeles and phoenix with his
cameras. robbie's work holds its own in many different genres, from premiering new chamber music, to
documentary video instalation, to movement in a modern dance piece.
